The Wyoming Hospital Special Interest Group connects administrators, IT teams, and telehealth providers, to enhance state-wide collaboration and resource sharing. Our goal is to work together to collectively address the role of telehealth in modern healthcare practice.

  • Ammon’s Horn Society Dinner in Denver
    • The Ammon’s Horn Society is a reception, dinner program, and gathering of local neurologists, epileptologists, specialists and other medical professionals in the epilepsy field. The Ammon’s Horn Society offers a space for cross-collaboration, networking, and learning. In addition to the dinner and networking time, the evening will feature a presentation given by expert speakers selected by our Professional Advisory Board. This event is free to attend for medical professionals in the epilepsy space.

  • Telepalliative Care Program Outcomes: Leveraging KPIs and Propensity Score Matching to Analyze Length of Stay 
    • This webinar examines the impact of early telepalliative care consultations on hospital length of stay and clinical care delivery. Presenters will share outcomes from a telepalliative care program, highlighting how timely consults influence hospitalization patterns and support goal‑concordant care. Using key performance indicators and propensity score matching, the session will demonstrate how rigorous evaluation methods can help clinicians understand when early palliative care involvement makes the greatest difference for patients and care teams.

    • This Program aims to build skills, share expertise, and strengthen collaboration among delivering providers when caring for pregnant patients in rural or resource-limited areas.
