Andrew Freedman, MD, FCCP, FAASM
Dr. Andrew Freedman is a physician who is board-certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He received his MD degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in 1979, and completed a Medicine Residency at the University Hospital affiliated program, Newark, NJ. He then went on to become the Chief Resident in Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He continued with a Pulmonary Fellowship, initially at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, then a Pulmonary Research Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. After completion of his training in 1985, Dr. Freedman entered private practice in his specialties. For many years he operated a very large practice in central New Jersey, with multiple offices and two accredited sleep laboratories. He acquired training and performed interventional bronchoscopy techniques as well. Starting in 2014 he transitioned to telemedicine. Presently he has a number of affiliations around the United States for which he provides expertise in the use of telehealth for the delivery of pulmonary, sleep medicine, and critical care medicine. In Wyoming he is the director of the Evanston Regional Hospital Sleep Disorders Center, and he is the physician in attendance at the Evanston Regional Hospital Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Clinic.
