Telehealth Awareness Week

September 18-24, 2022

Join the WyTN to create more education and awareness about telehealth in Wyoming by promoting the first ever Telehealth Awareness Week™ – September 18-24, 2022. We will highlight and reinforce the central role that telehealth now plays in the delivery of healthcare services and there are several ways for you to be involved!

Telehealth Awareness Week will amplify the message that Telehealth Is Health! You can help us spread the word. Here are a few ways to prepare to participate in the week:

  • Share telehealth awareness information on social media with images, hashtags (#TelehealthIsHealth), and graphics for #TelehealthAwareness leading up to and throughout Telehealth Awareness Week;
  • Utilize these Talking Points and Letter to the Editor Samples to craft your own letter to your local newspaper (we would love to see what you come up – please email any letter you write to Andrea Shipley at ashiple4@uwyo.edu);
  • Share a link to the WyTN website in your newsletter or on social media – the WyTN’s Telehealth Awareness Week toolkit on our website under the “Get Involved” tab will feature a new Patient Resource Video that will help clients prepare for their telehealth appointment;
  • Download TAW table tents to print them and display them on the tables of your facility’s cafeteria and/or waiting rooms and;
  • Make it a point to join a WyTN Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting during the month of September to learn more about plans to reduce barriers to healthcare!

Getting involved in Telehealth Awareness Week is a great way for you to do your part in creating more awareness about how telehealth can be an effective tool for both patients and providers. We hope you will join us by participating in one or all of these activities during Telehealth Awareness Week.
