Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center — The NRTRC is an organization based in Billings, MT that is funded to help support the development of telehealth in the NW United States. Wyoming is a member of the NRTRC.

UW Center for Rural Health Research & Education — The CRHRE’s mission is to provide tools, technology, and support services that enable practitioners, administrators, educators, researchers, policy makers, and students to improve the quality of health care and services in rural areas of Wyoming.
National Rural Health Association — The NRHA is a national nonprofit membership organization whose mission is to provide leadership on rural health issues.
Rural Assistance Center — the RAC, based in The Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a variety of resources related to rural health.

Health Information Security and Privacy Education Toolkit — This is a web site with several resources for provider education about security and privacy of electronic health information.
Office of Civil Rights HIPAA — this is the Web site for information on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from the federal Office of Civil Rights, which enforces the HIPAA Privacy Rule, which protects the privacy of individually identifiable health information; the HIPAA Security Rule, which sets national standards for the security of electronic protected health information; and the confidentiality provisions of the Patient Safety Rule, which protects identifiable information from being used to analyze patient safety events and improve patient safety.
